RITUANA provides these Terms of Service to govern your use of rituana.com and any purchase you make from RITUANA. By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can purchase

Our products are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. By purchasing, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2. Orders, pricing, and payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. RITUANA may decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including for pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock limitations. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Payment is processed at checkout through our payment provider; you authorize the charge by completing your purchase.

We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors. Wholesale partnerships are handled separately through our wholesale page.

3. Shipping

We ship within the United States. Shipping methods, fees, zones, and timeframes are described in our Shipping & Returns page. Issues with damaged, defective, incorrect, or lost shipments are addressed as described on that page.

4. Returns and refunds

Tea sales are final due to the perishable nature of matcha. We address damaged, defective, incorrect, or lost items as described in our Shipping & Returns page.

5. Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically at the cadence you select—every four, six, or eight weeks. You are charged each time an order ships, not in advance. Subscriptions require a minimum of two orders; you may cancel at any time after your second order has been charged. You may skip an upcoming shipment at any time through your account up to five days before that shipment, as described in our Shipping & Returns page. Cancellations apply to future shipments; orders already shipped cannot be reversed.

6. Product use

RITUANA matcha is a food product. Effects vary by individual. Information on our website is for general purposes and is not medical advice. Please consult a healthcare professional regarding any health condition, including pregnancy or caffeine sensitivity.

7. Intellectual property

The RITUANA name, logo, and content on rituana.com are owned by RITUANA, LLC. You may not copy, modify, or use them without our written permission. By tagging RITUANA in public posts on social media, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to repost and reuse that content with attribution.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Products and this website are provided “as is,” except as otherwise required by California’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and other applicable law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RITUANA’s total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in this section limits liability for personal injury caused by a defective product or for any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under California or federal law.

10. Force majeure

RITUANA is not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, supplier failures, carrier disruptions, government actions, public health emergencies, or other circumstances of force majeure.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

12. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and RITUANA regarding your use of rituana.com and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of rituana.com or placement of new orders after a change indicates your acceptance.
